Aux-Chan

To assign a switch to a channel, here I use CH6 / SwC for flaps.

To set servo end points if they are mechanically too far for the current TX/RX.

Dual Rate / EXPO

Menu 3D/R EXPO

These are conservative settings that worked well with my apprentice and H9-40 stick.

Channel Function Low High
1 D/R 40% 70%
1 EXP -30% -40%
2 D/R 45% 65%
2 EXP -30% -40%
4 D/R 60% 100%
4 EXP -40% -70%

Run ailerons on their own channels

Ailerons are normally run on a Y-Lead on channel 1 but they can be run on their own channels (1 and 6)

  1. Enable FLAPARONS (Menu 3), this mixes 1 & 6 in opposite directions.

Mixing flaps to work with ailerons

My H9-40 sticks flaps travel was the same as the ailerons so this would effectively create larger ailerons.

  1. Set all AUX-CHAN 5 to 10 to NULL, this released/centered the servos

  2. Enable FLAPARONS (Menu 3), this mixed 1 & 6 in opposite directions (Could also be done with mixing)

  3. Enable under menu 1 P.MIX 1-6 two mixes
